Cheddar Biscuits

A while ago I blogged a recipe for drop biscuits. Since then, I’ve tweaked the recipe a bit to make cheddar biscuits. These have been a big hit with my family. Hope you’ll give them a try. Enjoy!
Cheddar Biscuits
2 Cups all purpose flour
1 Tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon cream of tarter
2 teaspoons onion powder
1/2 Cup olive oil
1 Cup milk (I use skim)
Combine all of the above ingredients, then add 1/2 Cup of shredded cheddar cheese just till combined.
Drop biscuit mix by the spoonful onto a cookie sheet. Bake at 450 degrees Fahrenheit for 8-12 minutes.
Yield: approx. 8 medium size biscuits
