Market fun

We had another great morning spent at the farmer’s market! Today the weather was great, there was live music playing and plenty of folks buzzing around.  Just thought I’d share the goodies we brought home.

Our farmer’s market vendors have the usual things you’d expect–fruits and veggies fresh from the garden, but there are also vendors who sell arts and crafts and other home-made goodies. This little tin box caught my eye and I just had to have it. I’ll fill it with buttons and sewing notions and maybe a treasure or two.

My husband loves handmade soaps, so a few of Virgil’s Soaps came home with us as well.

And of course, who can resist such vibrant green broccoli– sandwiched between Granny Snoot’s baked goods–home-baked apple strudel and cookies.

I can’t wait till next Saturday!

  1. You guys at the Farmers’ Market are like kids in a candy store. 😉 Bill and I spent many Saturday mornings at a market. These are great memories, too.
