Opening Day!

Yes, it’s time once again for our area Farmer’s Market to open. Even though we had to dodge a few raindrops, we had a great time! There were many new vendors and lots of folks browsing and buying. The rain didn’t dampen any spirits, that’s for sure.

The train came through just as we arrived.

We are fortunate to have our Farmer’s Market in the downtown historical area.  The surrounding buildings include The Heritage Center, Main Library, and the Performing Arts Center. The area is beautifully landscaped and includes benches surrounding a fountain–a great place to sit and relax.

There were many offerings at the market today…from baked goods, to plants of all sorts, handmade/craft items and even bison meat!

I can always find my hubby–anywhere there’s a doggie!  So, until next weekend…let’s hope for some sunshine! 🙂
